Dr Tessa Crombie
I am a clinical psychologist specialising in working with children and adolescents and their families. I am also able to provide support for adults. I have extensive experience working in both the NHS and private practice and can offer a number of evidence-based therapies for a range of concerns. I believe in helping young people and their families to gain a better understanding of their difficulties and in supporting them to develop effective techniques to overcome current issues and build resilience for the future.
Professional Roles
Since qualifying as a clinical psychologist in 2013, I have worked in both the NHS and Private Practice. I specialise in working with children, adolescents and their families, as well as young adults. I have predominantly worked in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), providing assessments and therapeutic interventions for young people with a range of difficulties. This has included working at the National and Specialist CAMHS service for children with severe anxiety disorders and trauma / PTSD based at the Maudsley Hospital. I have also been involved in teaching on a range of courses and have extensive experience of providing supervision.
